About the Role:

The 1st Shift Assembler, Monday-Thursday 5:00am-2:00pm, Friday 5:00am-9:00am, plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by accurately and efficiently assembling components to create finished products that meet quality standards. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure that all assemblies are completed correctly and on schedule. The assembler will collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow and address any issues that arise during production. This role contributes directly to the overall success of the manufacturing operation by ensuring that products are assembled to specification and ready for the next stage of production or shipment. Ultimately, the assembler helps uphold the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret assembly instructions or blueprints.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required.
  • Willingness to work the 1st shift schedule consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic machinery operation.
  • Basic understanding of quality control principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble parts and components according to detailed instructions and blueprints.
  • Inspect assembled products for defects or deviations from specifications and report any issues.
  • Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently to aid in the assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Document completed work and report progress or challenges to the shift supervisor.
