About This Position

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus, Full Time, Day or Night Shift Available - Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD

Join Sinai Hospital's Respiratory Care Services team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and work at the largest community hospital in Maryland. Sinai is a Level II Trauma Center and academic medical center within the LifeBridge Health system. Whether you're an experienced RRT or a CRT advancing your credentials, you'll practice full-scope respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that invests in its clinicians through tuition reimbursement, advanced technology, and a clear path for career growth.

Why Respiratory Therapists Choose Sinai Hospital

At Sinai, respiratory therapists get the clinical challenge, patient variety, and career trajectory that's hard to find in one hospital.

  • Practice at the top of your license: Intubate, place arterial lines, manage ventilators independently, and drive clinical decisions. You won't just assist.
  • Lead during critical moments: Run rapid assessments, manage airways during codes, and own the respiratory plan of care.
  • Respected interdisciplinary partner: Collaborate as a recognized expert alongside pulmonologists, intensivists, neonatologists, and surgeons.
  • Full-spectrum clinical exposure: Care for premature infants in the NICU, pediatric patients in the PICU, mothers in Labor & Delivery, cardiac surgery patients, and trauma patients in our Level II Trauma Center, often in the same week.
  • Sharpen high-impact skills: Build expertise in rapid assessment, airway management, and whole-patient critical care.
  • Shift flexibility: Day shift and night shift openings available, so you can choose the schedule that fits your life.

Benefits and perks include:

  • Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • Tuition reimbursement toward advanced degrees and specialty certifications
  • Paid continuing education to maintain your credentials
  • Free on-site parking
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after hire
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match + pension
  • Generous paid time off, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance
  • Employee wellness programs, mental health support, and fitness discounts

Career growth at every stage:

  • New graduates: Structured preceptor program led by experienced respiratory therapists who help you build confidence in advanced skills from day one
  • Experienced RTs: Clinical ladder with a defined path from staff therapist to senior and lead roles
  • Specialty credentialing support: Pursue certifications in ECMO, adult critical care, neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, and pulmonary function testing
  • Teaching pathway: Step into a preceptor role and help shape the next generation of respiratory therapists
