Machine Operator in Thorofare, New Jersey at KRISTY KUTS LLC

We are searching for experienced machine operators. The machine operator is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of our production machinery. Specifically, our bagging and packaging machinery. This is an important position, as a machine running properly can make or break the day's production.

We have openings on both 1st and 2nd shift.

1st shift: Sunday- Thursday 5:30A - 1PM

2nd shift: Sunday - Thursday 1:00PM-9:00PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for turning the machine on at the beginning of the shift and doing a pre-op inspection of machinery.
• Operate machinery properly during the production shift.
• Maintain the machine to ensure it continues to work properly.
• Ensure the finished product meets our quality standards.
• Work well independently but also as part of the team, willing to help out wherever is needed.
• Post-op inspection at the end of the shift.
• Communicate any major issues with the maintenance team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED; technical school a plus
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Mechanical mindset with the ability to think outside the box
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and other departments
• Ability to work effectively in the absence of close supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold-temperature environment
• Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedures
• Ability to maintain regular attendance
• Ability to work overtime, as warranted by business needs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
