Summary

A Manager plays a key leadership role in the daily operation of the carwash site. This position ensures site cleanliness, service quality, and team productivity through hands-on involvement and team supervision. A member of the Management team monitors chemicals, equipment, and staff performance while resolving customer issues and coaching employees to deliver an exceptional experience. The role serves as the acting site leader in the absence of the General Manager and supports recruitment, training, and operations planning.

Site Operations & Oversight 30%

• Opens and closes the site per company protocols. Conducts routine site walkthroughs to inspect chemical levels, tunnel equipment, vacuum functionality, and safety hazards. Coordinates vendor deliveries and initiates maintenance calls when issues exceed staff capability. Manages shutdown procedures in accordance with company policy and communicates with the General Manager.

Team Supervision 25%

• Provides shift leadership by assigning tasks, managing break schedules, and monitoring team performance. Coaches employees on safety procedures, service standards, and sales expectations. Assists with interviewing, onboarding, and training new hires. Reports performance concerns or staffing issues to the General Manager.

Customer Service 15%

• Resolves customer concerns quickly and professionally. Supports teammates during peak periods by assisting with vacuum support, guiding vehicles, and customer engagement.

Sales & Goal Monitoring 10%

• Tracks daily membership conversions and sales performance. Encourages upselling and supports staff in achieving individual and team-based goals. Updates daily sales boards and reports metrics to the General Manager.

Maintenance 10%

• Troubleshoots minor mechanical or operational issues. Logs incidents, maintenance needs, and labor discrepancies. Updates maintenance tracking systems and escalates concerns as needed.

Site Cleanliness & Appearance 5%

• Ensures cleanliness of tunnel, vacuums, lot, lobby areas, and equipment. Oversees task completion related to site presentation and replenishment of supplies.

Other Duties as Assigned 5%
