About the Role

The TDP is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Finance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in political fundraising with a strong commitment to electing Democrats across Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Call Time Manager in prepping and staffing Principal call time
• Identifying and researching potential new supporters
• Compiling briefings, creating call sheets, and maintaining appropriate databases (NGP)
• Managing the donor acknowledgements program
• Providing key administrative and organizational support for the finance team
• Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

• Detail oriented self-starter with an interest in Democratic fundraising
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
• Willingness to relocate to Dallas, TX
• Experience working in NGP, as well as proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, preferred

The annual salary for this position is $50,000-55,000 and comes with 100% employer-paid health care.
