Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)
Position Summary:
The CLT Lead plays a key role in the manufacturing and production process at Sterling. This position provides guidance, training, and operational support to CLT line operators while ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. The Lead is responsible for monitoring workflow, assisting with troubleshooting, and promoting adherence to safety protocols.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in guiding and training employees on all aspects of CLT Line operations.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees, including safety, operational procedures, and company policies.
- Encourage and mentor team members to improve skills and performance.
- Assist in monitoring employee adherence to safety guidelines and company policies.
- Provide input on workflow improvements to enhance production efficiency.
- Help coordinate daily tasks and delegate work across various positions on the line.
- Perform routine quality checks and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and operational issues.
- Work closely with leadership to track production performance and suggest process improvements.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferred.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Hourly Range: $22 - $24 per hour dependent upon experience, and qualifications.
