About the role
Responsible for independently managing servicing and claims workflows across the MI lifecycle. This role handles moderately complex transactions and begins contributing to process improvement, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do
- Manage servicing activities including premium reconciliation, billing inquiries, and certificate updates
- Process claims documentation and support claim calculations under guidance
- Handle non-routine customer inquiries and resolve issues with limited supervision
- Ensure compliance with MI policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Support reporting, including data validation and trend identification - Collaborate with internal teams (Underwriting, IT, Claims, Compliance)
- Assist in identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities
- Support system testing and quality control efforts
- Contribute to onboarding and training of new hires
- Escalate complex issues appropriately
- Deliver stellar customer service to our Customers (Internal and External, Vendors and Business Partners
- Service the Anza book of business with an innovative and automation mindset to drive results while maintaining integrity and great attention to detail
- Assist other departments in their needs with a teamwork mindset and an overall big picture outlook of the Anza MI Corporation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5+ years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of mortgage servicing and/or claims processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Effective communication and stakeholder interaction skills
- Attention to detail with strong accuracy standards
