College Intern at Franklin County Engineer’s Office – Columbus, Ohio

College Interns are college students who are enrolled in an academic college or university AND have completed their freshman year. College Interns may only be employed in positions that are directly related to their declared major. College Interns may be employed in departments such as Tax Map, Survey, GIS, Drainage, Construction, Mobility (Traffic), Highway Design, and Bridge Design.

The minimum age for all employment is 18 years.

HOURLY RATES (effective March 12, 2025)

College Interns:

Freshman year of college completed $20.00

Sophomore year of college completed $21.00

Junior year of college completed $22.00

Senior year of college completed (the student has graduated) $23.00

First year of Graduate School completed $24.00
