The Opportunity

As a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice, youll work alongside experienced technicians to install, maintain, and support fire protection systems on commercial and residential job sites. This is a hands-on, field-based role where youll build valuable trade skills that can turn into a long-term career.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Assist with installation of fire sprinkler systems, including pipe hanging and layout

  • Measure, cut, thread, and groove pipe

  • Install hangers, supports, and seismic bracing

  • Support system testing, inspections, and troubleshooting

  • Assist with valve installs, trim work, and basic system components

  • Load, unload, and organize tools and materials on job sites

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols

  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and sprinkler layouts (or willingness to learn)

  • Support shop work, material prep, and general labor as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods)

  • Reliable transportation to job sites

  • Basic mechanical aptitude or construction interest

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical trades

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools

  • Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings
