Job Description
Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Provide warehouse support pertaining to warehouse logistics operations.
- Perform logistical tasks to support daily warehouse operations.
- Perform receiving, shipping, storing (stowing), selecting (picking), supply turn-in (disposal), packing (kitting and stuffing), unpacking (downloading), and inventory support for general and specialized material and equipment.
- Perform receiving duties, including receiving, unloading, and processing of incoming shipments.
- Verify accompanying documentation against containers, shipping labels, and packing records.
- Report overages, shortages, damaged shipments, and discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
- Open containers and remove dunnage and packing materials.
- Segregate material by type, including equipment, consumables, narcotics, pilferable items, hazardous material, and other specialized stock.
- Generate labels, routing documentation, and movement instructions in automated systems.
- Route and move material to staging, stowage, or operational work areas.
- Provide logistics support to warehouse personnel, including delivery of supplies, equipment, and furniture within the warehouse and attached outlying buildings.
- Support warehouse cleanliness, organization, and facility aesthetics.
- Assistwith movement and staging of material handling equipment and warehouse assets.
- Support inventory counts, location surveys, and material accountability as directed.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience supporting end-to-end warehouse or supply chain logistics operations.
- Experience receiving, shipping, stowing material, packing specialized equipment, and supporting warehouse movement operations.
- Experience analyzing documentation and shipment discrepancies preferred.
- Experience supporting warehouse operations, material movement, and supply delivery.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform a variety of physical warehouse tasks, including receiving, unloading, staging, moving, and shipping material.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to drive up to a 1.5-ton stake bed truck and 4–6K forklifts for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Ability to lift, move, and stage warehouse material as required.
- Ability to work in warehouse and attached outlying facilities.
Clearance
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimumT-1/NACI)
