Senior Paid Acquisition Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Paid Acquisition Manager in Canada.

This role sits at the core of a fast-scaling demand generation engine, responsible for driving measurable growth across multiple paid channels in a high-performance SaaS environment. You will own and scale large-budget acquisition programs while continuously testing, learning, and optimizing across the full funnel. Working across search, social, and emerging paid platforms, you will directly influence pipeline generation, trial growth, and demo volume. The environment is highly data-driven, experimentation-focused, and deeply collaborative across marketing, product, and sales teams. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic thinking, executional depth, and technical marketing expertise. You will also help build new paid programs from the ground up while improving mature, high-spend acquisition engines.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for leading end-to-end paid acquisition strategy and execution across multiple high-impact channels, ensuring scalable pipeline growth and efficient customer acquisition.

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid search and paid social campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit to drive high-quality trials, demos, and handraisers.
  • Manage and scale a significant monthly ad budget while overseeing agency partners, ensuring performance accountability and efficient CAC payback.
  • Build new paid demand generation programs from scratch while improving and expanding existing acquisition initiatives.
  • Design and execute structured experimentation across channels, creative, audiences, and landing pages to improve conversion and acquisition efficiency.
  • Own conversion tracking setup and validation end-to-end using tools such as Google Tag Manager to ensure data accuracy and optimization reliability.
  • Analyze full-funnel performance using platforms like HubSpot and HockeyStack, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, design, product marketing, and sales teams to develop high-performing campaigns and assets.
  • Build automation and AI-driven workflows to optimize bidding, creative testing, reporting, and budget allocation for scale and efficiency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on paid media expertise, deep analytical skills, and proven success managing large-scale acquisition budgets in SaaS or B2B environments.

  • 6–8 years of experience in performance or growth marketing, with strong hands-on ownership of paid acquisition channels.
  • Proven experience managing $500K+/month in paid media spend across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Strong expertise in paid search, paid social, funnel optimization, and conversion-focused campaign execution.
  • Deep analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and optimize performance at scale.
  • Experience designing and executing A/B or multivariate experiments across campaigns and landing pages.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and validating conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GA4, HubSpot, HockeyStack, and landing page testing platforms like Webflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to build real AI-driven or automation workflows using tools such as Claude, Markifact, or N8N.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional marketing, product, and sales teams.
  • Highly results-driven, curious, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, experimentation-heavy environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior-level paid acquisition roles in the Canadian market
  • Stock options providing long-term ownership and alignment with company growth
  • Remote-first flexibility with modern, collaborative working practices
  • Unlimited vacation policy promoting balance and autonomy
  • Private healthcare and well-being support
  • Learning and development support, including training opportunities and experimentation budgets
  • Annual exposure to new tools, platforms, and innovation initiatives in AI and growth marketing
  • Strong cross-functional environment with opportunities to expand scope into broader growth leadership roles
