Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Service Supervisor in Training (SSIT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fracture stimulation, heavy equipment operation, and construction, particularly in the oil and gas industry. The SSIT should ensure leadership and guidance is provided to team members and that they and their team members are aligned with AquaSmart’s core SPIRIT values, our mission, and our company strategy. The SSIT will be trained to work with assigned team members to ensure timely maintenance of assets and adherence to safe work processes and procedures. They will ensure that operations and maintenance activities performed by team members comply with all applicable company and regulatory requirements. Job Duties:
  • Learn to motivate team members, promote clear communication, and gain insights into directing task execution.
  • Observe crew performance to provide constructive feedback and address crew-related issues, escalating to management as needed.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations to meet required pumping rates and monitor operating data to minimize problems and downtime.
  • Ensures that established regulatory, environmental, and safety standards are maintained.
  • Supervises all emergency response activities and decisions related to the safety of the facilities and the surrounding area.
  • Supervises subordinates in performing their job duties safely and efficiently. Administers performance reviews for subordinates and administers disciplinary action when warranted. Ensure all departmental manuals are kept current.
  • Develops and administers training courses pertinent to Operations to ensure personnel qualifications are maintained to comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures to ensure safe, efficient operations. Ensures operating parameters remain within the equipment's design limits.
  • Participates in DOT and PHMSA audits and maintains all required operational documentation to remain in compliance.
  • Develop ability to create and manage crew schedules, coordinating with departments for resource allocation, and adjusting schedules based on operational demands.
  • Serve as a customer contact, learning to address concerns professionally.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Be trained in task communication, monitoring work quality, enforcing safety protocols, participating in safety meetings, and understanding investigation procedures.
  • Provide updates on crew activities, maintain attendance records, and identify opportunities for efficiency and safety improvements while working with management on enhancements.
  • Be trained with an emphasis on interdepartmental coordination, with the expectation to perform various tasks to support their learning and development.
  • Operate specialized equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following company guidelines and best practices.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by always following and modeling safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Promote a safety-conscious culture within the team.
  • Assist with rigging up and rigging down equipment, which may involve physical labor and manual tasks.
  • Be willing and flexible to travel to various locations as required by the job.
  • Work on a schedule of two weeks on and one week off, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Performs other duties as directed by the Field Operations Manager(s) and Operations Director.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in fracture stimulation, heavy equipment operation, preferably in oil and gas or construction environments.
  • Proficiency in operating cranes, rigs, and other specialized machinery.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations for equipment operation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, addressing and executing solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong understanding of project management techniques with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.
  • Train and develop staff, provide constructive performance feedback and appraisals and take appropriate corrective action to address performance and conduct issues.
  • Operate as a self-starter with individual drive and initiative to start, develop and complete projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively handle pressures and demands of deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to establish and maintain constructive and positive working relationships with internal clients and external customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to accomplish project goals This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in dynamic environments.
  • MUST have a valid commercial drivers license - Class A

  • 12 hour shift- two weeks on, one week off.
  • Day shift

Experience:
  • Oil & Gas: 5+ years (Preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience in leading a team
  • Some Knowledge of Frac Fleet Operations and Frac Designs (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
  • 100% (Required)
Work Location:

Based out of Marshall, TX, but must be willing to consistently travel throughout Texas and potentially other states when on shift.

The pay range for this role is:
