Billing and Collections Specialist

We are a growing, multi-line Managing General Agency (MGA) partnering with carriers and agents nationwide to deliver exceptional underwriting and service. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to support timely premium collection, accuracy of account balances, and compliance in non-payment cancellation workflows. The Billing & Collections Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate receivables, collecting outstanding premium, and supporting the non-payment cancellation process across multiple states and product lines. This position works closely with the Billing & Collections Manager, underwriting teams, agencies, and insureds to ensure accounts remain current and cancellation timelines are met.

Requirements:
  • 2–4 years of experience in insurance billing, collections, premium accounting, or agency operations.
  • Knowledge of P&C insurance billing methods (agency bill, direct bill, premium finance).
  • Proficiency in agency/MGA management systems (AIM, Vertafore, Applied, or similar).
