An iconic establishment in Whistler since 1997, the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub is located in Whistler’s premier hotel property, Pan Pacific Mountainside. We provide the best Irish pub experience outside of Ireland and our team consists of some of the most skilled, friendly & energetic hospitality professionals around.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare food items, cook menu items and plate dishes as per standards
• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
• Work and deliver agreed standards in a fast-paced environment
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
• Prepare, serve and store foods according to Health & Safety Guidelines; Maintain a clean and safe station
• Monitor food quality while preparing food
• Set up and break down/clean of station
• Work with and train kitchen helpers as required
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Executive Chef or Sous Chefs as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience cooking in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Contributes to a positive and efficient kitchen environment
• Ability to maintain a clean work environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in English verbal and written communication
• FoodSafe Level 1 certification an asset
