Role Overview
The Alliance Partner Manager, Latin America is responsible for managing and growing the company’s relationship with Microsoft and GitHub across Latin America. Based in Costa Rica, this role serves as the connective tissue between sales, marketing, delivery, and leadership teams and the Microsoft/GitHub partner ecosystem driving co-sell and partner alignment, owning execution of Microsoft funding and incentive motions and accelerating joint pipeline and regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Microsoft and GitHub partner contacts, field teams, and ecosystem stakeholders across Latin America.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Microsoft partner relationships and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage Microsoft Partner Center activities, including deal registration, CPOR, PAL, and marketplace updates.
  • Support joint go-to-market efforts with Microsoft and GitHub, including co-sell motions, campaigns, and solution positioning.
  • Own and operationalize Microsoft funding and incentive execution in partnership with Sales, Delivery, and Finance, ensuring correct program fit, timely nominations/submissions, required documentation, and tracking through reimbursement/payment (as applicable).
  • Own regional pipeline discipline and operating rhythm: Coordinate enablement, strategic planning, and joint marketing or event activities with Microsoft and GitHub.

  • Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities that support pipeline growth, customer expansion, and strategic market development.
  • Support business reviews, executive updates, and internal reporting related to the partnerships.
Requirements
  • 3+ years in alliance management, partner management, channel sales, or a related role.
  • Experience working in the Microsoft ecosystem with a strong understanding of partner-led go-to-market motions, co-sell, and ecosystem engagement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft programs such as Co-Sell Ready, ISV Connect, Azure Marketplace, CSP, CPOR, and PAL.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with sales operations, reporting, and CRM tools.
  • Background in enterprise software, SaaS, managed services, or consulting is preferred.
  • Full Professional Fluency in Spanish AND English; Portuguese is preferred.
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-market programs in Latin America is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft funding/incentive motions, including aligning opportunities to program requirements, coordinating nominations, and ensuring required documentation and tracking are completed accurately and on time.
