Kitchen Steward at The Windsor Court – New Orleans, Louisiana

The Windsor Court seeks a Kitchen Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up supplies, items, and necessary equipment needed for service, as well as cleaning and storing all equipment used at functions. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining adequate supplies during meal service, sweeping and mopping floors, collecting and removing trash as necessary, and collecting and breaking down boxes as necessary.

Responsibilities:

- Set up all supplies, items, and necessary equipment needed for service

- Clean and store all equipment used at functions

- Maintain adequate supplies during meal service

- Sweep and mop floors

- Collect and remove trash as necessary

- Collect and break down boxes as necessary

- Perform any other assigned tasks or duties as required

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

- Excellent time management skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
