We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative office environment.
What You’ll Do
As an Accounting Clerk, you’ll play a key role in supporting the accounting team and ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Apply accounts receivable payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with data entry and processing of accounts payable invoices.
- Support job costing entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with reconciling credit card transactions and monthly accounts.
- Process bank deposits.
- Retrieve, open, and distribute incoming mail.
- Manage the general remittance email inbox.
- Communicate with internal departments and intercompany contacts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with special accounting projects as assigned.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of related accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in accounting preferred.
- Experience working within an ERP system.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, processes, and terminology.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working with a diverse group of people.

Work Schedule & Environment
- Full-time, in-office position.
- Typical hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
