The Outlook at Windhaven team is looking for talented individuals to be part of the team as a Food Runner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
• Ensure resident, patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
• Maintain good attendance record; arrive at work timely and conform to scheduled work hours
• Perform all job duties safely
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries.
• Support servers by refilling drinks, providing additional utensils, and responding to resident requests.
• Help maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, including dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with food service and setup.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Willingness to help out wherever needed within the restaurant, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.
