About This Position
About Poseidon AerospacePoseidon Aerospace is building unmanned cargo planes to dramatically lower the cost of transporting goods through the air. We have raised $13M from top venture capital firms to develop the largest cargo drones in the West. We’ve successfully tested Seagull, our quarter-scale prototype flight and are currently developing Heron (seaplane) and Egret (STOL) which will carry up to 4,000 lbs.

Role OverviewThe role will own day-to-day operational excellence across office management, logistics, executive support, manufacturing coordination, and special projects. This is a high-agency, hands-on role designed for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and takes pride in solving problems before others notice them.You will remove friction from the organization so engineering, flight, and federal teams can focus on building and deploying aircraft.

Responsibilities
- Own office operations, workspace functionality, utilities, and overall environment across facilities
- Manage daily operational logistics including meals, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and vendor coordination
- Coordinate travel, lodging, scheduling, and field logistics
- Plan and execute onsite visits for partners, investors, customers, and candidates
- Support warehouse organization, office build out, and facility expansions
- Own new hire onboarding logistics including desk setup, equipment provisioning, and first-day readiness
- Provide executive support and drive special projects, proactively solving operational challenges across the company
- Someone who takes pride in making things run well behind the scenes
- Strong people skills and exceptional EQ
- High agency: you see a problem, you solve it, you don't wait for instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Reliable, punctual, and physically present
Ideally You Have
- Prior experience in office management, executive assistance, or facilities/operations at a startup or fast-paced company
- Experience coordinating catering, vendor relationships, or event logistics
- A bias toward action over process
- Genuine interest in what we're building
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or hardware startups is a plus but not required.
