About This Position
The Senior Account Executive - Audiovisual (AV) is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales and profitability objectives within an assigned territory and client portfolio. This role focuses on both new business development and expansion of existing accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas.
The Senior Account Executive - Audiovisual (AV) leads the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, developing proposals and bid responses, negotiating contracts, and managing client communication related to scope, schedule, and change orders. This role identifies enterprise-level and complex client needs, assesses budget requirements, and develops comprehensive audiovisual and technology integration solutions that align with business objectives.
Serving as the primary point of contact, the Senior AE partners closely with clients throughout planning, design, implementation, closeout, and ongoing support to ensure a seamless experience. The ideal candidate can identify high-margin opportunities, guide clients through complex projects, and build long-term strategic relationships that extend beyond the initial sale.

- Implement sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals
- Manage all aspects of assigned accounts, including guiding purchase decisions, communicating project timelines, coordinating change orders, and supporting collections efforts when necessary
- Provide ongoing sales support and coordination throughout the pre-sale and post-sale process, partnering closely with engineering, project management, and field teams
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation and provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain aligned with company standards and industry trends
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of consultative sales experience in AV/IT integration or a related technology industry
- Established industry network and relationships within the AV, IT, or technology integration space
- Strong knowledge of AV/IT solutions, system design, engineering, and integration processes
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, develop strategic solutions, and close complex sales opportunities
- Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills, including the ability to uncover and address underlying customer needs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities while meeting sales objectives
- Flexibility in scheduling to support client needs and sales activities
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, and company business
