Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Risk Management & Risk Control)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration:12 Months
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong foundation in Risk Management and Risk Control to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring successful project delivery while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to maintain alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology projects across cross-functional teams
  • Establish and implement risk management frameworks, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Proactively identify project risks and drive mitigation and contingency strategies
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to align on project goals and outcomes
  • Utilize tools such as Jira, MS Project, and ServiceNow for planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Drive execution across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
  • Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and risk reports to leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Project or Program Management
  • Strong expertise in Risk Management, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control frameworks
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technology projects
  • Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
  • Experience with governance, compliance, and audit processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or PSM
  • Experience working in regulated industries (Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity or IAM risk frameworks
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with data-driven reporting, dashboards, and analytics tools
