Ignition Engineer in Pune, Mahārāshtra at E Tech Group

We are seeking an Ignition Engineer to play key role in the design and development of customized automation systems incorporating range of PLCs, Drives, SCADA and control gear equipments. This role requires knowledge of global process automation and process safety standards, (ISA-S95, S88 and IEC 61511).

You will:

• Interact with client personnel to identify and analyse continuous improvement through automation upgrades. Manage, document, and implement these upgrades through changes control procedures.
• Execute capital projects including Control system software development, Control system hardware design, Network design, MES system implementation, Recipe management, User requirement specification development, Process equipment installations, SOP development and training on Automation Systems.
• On-Site Commissioning / Remote Support based on project requirement. Should be ready to travel internationally as per the project requirement.
• SCADA/Historian Ignition Core Certification, working knowledge of executing Ignition Projects, Ignition Advanced certification will be an advantage.
• HMI/SCADA design and development, Creating, and updating tag database as per project requirement. Knowledge of OPC servers (e.g. Kepware) will be an advantage.
• Manage automation projects through effective financial and schedule control.

You have:

• Experience in providing the network architecture for connectivity ofPLC/DCS/OPC/HMIfor software integration.
• Experience on communication protocols such as OPC-DA/UA, MQTT, Modbus RTU & Modbus TCP/IP, Industrial ethernet, Profibus, ProfiNet.
• 2 to 5+ years experience designing, implementing, supporting manufacturing automation solutions, and Ignition / Sepasoft.
• Ignition Core Certified / Gold Certified a big plus!
• Hands on experience in Python
• Previous experience in delivering L1/L2/L3 integration as well as manufacturing IT applications.
• Experience in Control Systems such as Allen Bradley/Delta V/ Foxboro/ Siemens/ Honeywell.
• Experience with SCADA, MES, and database systems are required and any experience with computer system validation is a plus.
