This role is a senior product leadership position focused on shaping and delivering a SaaS-based contracting solution within a clinical trial financial platform. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end lifecycle of the Contracting module, from strategy and roadmap definition through launch, adoption, and continuous optimization. The position sits at the intersection of product management, clinical operations, and financial systems, requiring the ability to translate complex regulatory, financial, and operational needs into scalable digital solutions. You will work closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful execution and measurable business impact. This is a highly cross-functional role where product leadership directly influences clinical trial efficiency and financial accuracy. - Own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the Contracting module within the Clinical Trial Financial Suite
- Define and execute launch strategy including scope, success metrics, phased releases, pilot programs, and general availability readiness
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities including discovery, requirements definition, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and release execution
- Translate complex clinical trial contracting and financial workflows into structured product requirements and user stories
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for AI-driven or intelligent automation features to enhance workflow efficiency and usability
- Manage launch readiness activities including documentation, operational handoffs, and coordination with implementation and support teams
- Drive cross-functional alignment with engineering, UX, architecture, compliance, and commercial teams
- Oversee product quality, defect resolution, and adherence to enterprise SaaS standards for scalability, security, and compliance
- Lead customer engagement activities including discovery sessions, feedback loops, demos, and early adopter programs
- Partner with marketing and sales to support product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business systems roles in SaaS environments
- Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional enterprise software products
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous business, financial, or operational problems into structured product solutions
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with engineering teams
- Familiarity with contracting systems, financial workflows, or platforms such as CLM, billing, invoicing, or reconciliation tools
- Experience in enterprise SaaS product launches, including adoption and post-launch optimization
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries is highly desirable
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive base salary range: $98,500 – $274,400 annually (varies based on experience and location)
