What You Will Work On

As part of the Spiritual Life and Strategic Partnerships Team (SLSP), The Program Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of video production activities and community events. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to ensure smooth program execution and participant engagement.

How You’ll Create Impact

  • Assist in planning and coordinating video production activities and community events
  • Develop and manage production and event schedules
  • Schedule senior participants in collaboration with the advisory committee
  • Coordinate with the project facilitator and team members to support program delivery
  • Support event logistics, including setup, on-site coordination, and breakdown
  • Send reminders and manage participant communications
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including consent forms, attendance records, and production/event tracking materials

What Are Your Skills and Experience

  • MUST be qualified to work in Canada legally for the employer.
  • Able to independently prioritize work responsibilities while maintaining a high degree of efficiency.
  • Cooperative and flexible team player, able to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Flexible hours based on program and event schedules
  • May require occasional evening availability for events
  • Long-term care chaplaincy experience is an asset.
