Job Description

Overview

At Grant Cardone Enterprises, our studio is a core part of how we drive attention, build brand,

and generate revenue.

We’re hiring an A/V Technician to take ownership of our 10X Studio, broadcast booths, and

live streaming infrastructure. This role is responsible for making sure every shoot, every

recording, and every live stream runs clean, stable, and without interruption.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in system reliability, clean execution,

and solving problems in real time.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Studio and Equipment Management

● Maintain and optimize all studio A/V systems including cameras, lighting, audio,

switching, and monitoring

● Ensure all broadcast booths are fully operational and ready for use at all times

● Handle setup, teardown, and reconfiguration for shoots, podcasts, and live productions

Live Streaming and Broadcast Execution

● Execute and monitor live streams across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and

internal channels

● Monitor stream health including bitrate, latency, audio sync, and dropped frames

● Troubleshoot issues in real time and keep productions running without disruption

System Reliability and Optimization

● Maintain clean signal flow and routing across all systems

● Identify risks or inefficiencies and implement improvements proactively

● Support backup and redundancy systems to reduce the risk of failure

Production Support

● Work closely with producers, talent, and marketing teams during shoots

● Ensure talent is mic’d, framed, and ready quickly and efficiently

● Communicate clearly under pressure and keep production moving

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

● Studio and broadcast booths are consistently ready with no delays or technical issues

● Live streams run smoothly with stable video, clean audio, and no major interruptions

● You have identified and improved key system inefficiencies or risks

● The production team relies on you to handle technical execution without oversight

Who This Is For

● You are detail-oriented and take pride in clean, reliable setups

● You stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly

● You take ownership of systems and fix issues before they become problems

● You enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment

Who This Is NOT For

● You need slow-paced environments or long setup timelines

● You are uncomfortable troubleshooting issues during live production

● You prefer planning over hands-on execution

Technical Requirements

Must Have

● Experience with A/V systems in a studio or live production environment

● Strong understanding of signal flow, routing, and troubleshooting

● Experience with streaming software such as OBS, vMix, or Wirecast

● Familiarity with audio systems, wireless mics, and basic mixing

● Experience with video switching systems such as Blackmagic ATEM

Nice to Have

● Networking knowledge including bandwidth management and RTMP streaming

● Experience with multi-camera production setups

● Basic lighting setup knowledge

● Experience in high-output content or broadcast environments

Final Word

This role is critical to the success of our content operation.

When the systems are dialed in, everything runs. When they’re not, everything stops.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of that responsibility and executes at a high

level.

If that sounds like you, apply.
