Summer Intern at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

The role of the IT Intern is to assist the IT Staff with day to day facility needs, special projects, and acquire knowledge while being temporarily employed in a healthcare Information Technology department.

Job duties

- move IT equipment into new expansion space

- unbox and mount monitors on dual monitor stands

- mount monitor, keyboards and mice on swing arms

- place out IP phones, monitors, mice, keyboards, PCs on desks

- assist IT Technicians with other setup items related to moving into expansion area

Requirements
- can lift 50 pounds or more on their own
- proficient with connecting computer equipment together
- proficient using screwdrivers and other small tools
- able to work on their own with verbal instruction
