Dennis K. Burke Inc., headquartered in Taunton, MA, is looking for a dynamic, motivated person to join our Customer Service Team! This an opportunity for someone that will thrive in a fast-paced environment and can successfully prioritize work and multi-task. This position works with multiple departments and includes a wide range of tasks and the use of multiple systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email to address a wide range of requests, including order placement, estimated delivery times, pricing discrepancies, and account maintenanceAccurately and efficiently process customer orders, handle payments, and provide basic product informationGather and analyze all relevant information to assess the validity of customer concerns, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutionsResearch and resolve customer issues using internal databases, product documentation, and available resourcesEscalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments for further investigation and resolutionCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer support and service deliveryFollow up with customers regarding inquiries and communicate updates or resolutions in a timely mannerComplete assigned daily responsibilities, including monitoring, auditing, and reporting tasksProvide support and assistance on additional customer service initiatives and cross-departmental projects as neededKnowledge, Education and Skills Requirements
Exceptional interpersonal abilities; able to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization in a professional and courteous mannerStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProven team player able to work successfully with a team Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with experience using database-driven systemsHighly detail-oriented with strong analytical and mathematical skillsPhysical Requirements and responsibilities
Able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionallyAble to bend, stand, walk, sitDexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer including keyboard, mouse, and other office equipmentSupervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other office equipment
