🎯 About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Receiver to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You'll receives, inspect and deliver incoming materials, supplies and equipment. Count and record shipments and compare actual items received with the purchase order to find inconsistencies

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Receives, inspects, verifies and accepts or rejects all supplies or equipment delivered to the hospital dock. Transfers shipments into the receiving area and General Stores inventory. Organizes and delivers shipments to the necessary department in an efficient manner.
• Inputs and received shipments into the materials management module in Meditech. Obtains needed signatures from hospital department personnel on the original delivery ticket. Accurately processes all necessary paperwork, such as, packing slips, bills of lading, receiving reports, and month end logs.
• Prepares all returns for shipments within 24 hours of receiving product, RMA information, or call tags.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Ensures the dock is clear of shipments, pallets and trash at the end of each work day. Maintains neat and accurate files. Uses good storage techniques – i.e., proper locations, rotates stock.
• Communicates with purchasing and vendors about order discrepancies, including short shipments, over shipments and incorrect shipments.
• Operates shipment transportation equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts, carefully and safely. Remains aware of safety hazard potential in parking and moving materials throughout the hospital. Maintains current knowledge of inventory stock and item location.

📋 What You Bring

• High school graduate or GED required
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a warehouse receiving function, preferred.
• Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in hospital receiving
• Familiarity with invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, freight bills, and other receiving documentation a plus
