Responsibilities:

• Conduct material counts following completion of shop floor production orders.
• Review and validate component usage, including issued materials and returned items.
• Confirm finished goods quantities produced during manufacturing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective cycle count program.
• Reconcile physical inventory with Syspro records and identify root causes of any discrepancies.
• Process and record material movement transactions in the Syspro ERP system as required.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and reporting timeliness.
• Develop and execute strategies to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
• Support and/or lead waste management initiatives to reduce material loss.
• Monitor and take actions to minimize material obsolescence.
• Enter inventory and production transactions into the customers ERP system (such as SAP or other systems) when required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in inventory control, materials management, or a related field. An Associate degree in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and present findings to different levels of management.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Solid understanding of mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions and their practical application.
• Knowledge of MRP concepts and ERP system functionality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) along with experience using Google Workspace and Outlook.
