Golden Touch Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee residential construction and remodeling projects across Southern California.

This is a hybrid role that combines expert-level carpentry with site leadership. If you are a master of finish carpentry (cabinetry, built-ins, trim) who can also manage a crew and read blueprints, we offer a pay range up to $50+/hr, performance bonuses, and a stable career with a trusted family-owned business.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the on-site leader, ensuring projects are executed from framing to finish with exceptional detail.
• Site Leadership: Manage daily operations, lead carpentry crews, and schedule tasks for efficiency and safety.
• Master Carpentry: Execute high-end finish carpentry including custom cabinetry, built-ins, trim, doors, and framing.
• Project Management: Monitor budgets, materials, and timelines to ensure delivery standards are met.
• Technical Execution: Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to solve problems on-site.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and designers.
• Mentorship: Train team members in finish carpentry techniques and site practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in residential construction as a Lead Carpenter, Site Supervisor, or equivalent.
• Craftsmanship: Mastery of finish carpentry (custom cabinetry, trim work, woodworking) is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and knowledge of building codes/OSHA safety.
• Leadership: Strong team management abilities and client service skills.
• Requirements: Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Bonus: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
