CHA Dental Services at our Windsor Street Care Center is a teaching site for the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and other local schools. People come here to learn about research and techniques in oral health. Our residents frequently provide dental services and education to children and adults through community events and programs. Our office in Cambridge provides a wide range of services for all ages. You can find everything from routine cleanings to dentures. We also offer evening hours and have a children-only clinic one weekend a month.
Administrative responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Handling all calls appropriately and courteously. Registering patients and scheduling appointments via Epic. Verifying insurance eligibility. Maintaining and supporting both paper and electronic medical records. Collecting, processing, and reconciling co-pays to be deposited. Providing financial support by processing charges, reconciling daily receipts as well as identifying and correcting errors in billing. Assisting direct patient care providers with electronic and paper correspondence. Participating on a planned care team. Attending departmental meetings. And other duties as assigned.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is required. One year of experience working in an outpatient medical setting is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole preferred. Experience working with Dentrix preferred. Must possess excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
