About This Position
We're Hiring! Are you looking for a career opportunity, great pay, and a great company to work with? All Weather Contractors (located on the Westside and Orange Park) has an immediate opening for a Construction Permit Administrator.
Under the guidance and leadership of the construction director, this position will provide administrative support to field project managers in all aspects of permitting and project administration for construction projects. Will work to complete permit applications, plans to comply with permit requirements and other administrative duties as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Oversee the permitting process for all projects, including (but not limited to) exterior
and interior building repair projects & roof repairs.
-Put together the actual permit package to be uploaded to permit site or Portal.
Includes the application, related documentation, and plans as needed.
-Maintains the Permit Tracker – Excel spreadsheet, to monitor the progression of the
permitting process.
-Obtain notarized signatures for NOC, property managers, etc. to complete
packages.
-Walk-thru permitting documents and obtain proper approval for permits to be issued.
-Arrange for the permits to be delivered to the actual job boxes in an organized and
timely manner.
-Communicate with field personnel on a daily basis to organize and keep track of
potential upcoming projects that will need permits.
-Order job boxes, dumpsters, Conex storage containers, and port-a-lets for big
projects.
-Taking and ordering concrete for projects per field personnel and Property
Maintenance.
-Order and confirm delivery and pick-up for heavy equipment on job sites.
-Coordinate with Field Personnel as needed for job needs.
-Assist Director with Notice to Owner Filings.
-Follow-up with Accounting as needed to track invoices for payment.
-Administrative support and communication to the field.
-Heavy volume of communication and work with Microsoft Outlook e-mail
-There is a strong emphasis on organizational and time management skills, as this
person is the primary point of contact for permitting.
-Perform additional duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. -Strong planning & organizational skills
-Computer skills to include, Microsoft Office and some vendor software packages.
-Time Management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
-Ability to work as a team or independently to complete the full scope of permitting
process.
-Attention to detail & problem solving skills are needed.
-Excellent customer service, communication, and follow-up skills are essential to be
successful in this role.
