Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Prep Team Member to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the consistent quality and freshness of our products. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing fresh ingredients, cooking plant-based dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation:
  • Clean and prepare all fresh produce, including washing, chopping, slicing, and dicing fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
• Cooking:
  • Cook a variety of plant-based dishes, including wraps, salads, soups, and grains.
  • Prepare fresh cold-pressed juices.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., blenders, mixers, ovens).
• Kitchen Maintenance:
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and work surfaces after each use.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications:

• Passion for plant-based foods and a strong interest in healthy eating.
• Prior experience in a commercial kitchen setting is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality food.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
