Phlebotomist - Physician Services at Thibodaux Regional Health System – Thibodaux, Louisiana

Responsible for registering all patients appropriately, obtaining blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Graduate of a Phlebotomy training program required or in lieu of education must have a minimum of 2 years phlebotomy experience required.

Other Special Training/Skills:

1. Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
2. Must possess good interpersonal skills so that communication with patients puts them at ease.
