Join Our Team as a Driver at The Briarwood Community – Your Route to Opportunity Awaits!

Pay: $20.00 per hour

As our Per Diem Driver, you’ll be called in when our schedule is overflowing. So flexibility is a must. You’ll be at the heart of our community, providing transportation to residents for shopping trips, outings, appointments, and all special events outside the community.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a company passenger vehicle to transport residents to doctor appointments, outings, and shopping trips.
• Adheres to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road
• Assist the residents with entering and leaving the vehicle
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs with restraint devices to stabilize during trips
• Maintain company vehicles following company policy
• Maintain a mileage log after each trip, recording the time left, destination, time returned, and total mileage.

Qualifications:

• Friendly, polished, and reliable with strong communication skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to handle unexpected situations gracefully with exceptional customer service.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Comfort with basic technology tools.
