About This Position
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various duties within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This position ensures the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Identify and read vendor packing slips, carrier shipping documents, and receiving documents
- Enter receiving and shipping information into the facility’s ERP system
- Complete incoming verification and check parts
- Operate a forklift
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space, including proper disposal of packaging materials.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve warehouse operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and safely under pressure
- Basic math skills for processing orders
- Accurate and effective basic written communication skills
