This role sits at the intersection of investment operations, client implementation, and enterprise software transformation within the asset management space. You will lead end-to-end deployments of a modern cloud-based platform, helping investment firms reimagine and optimize their back-office workflows across portfolio accounting, reconciliation, and reporting. Acting as both a functional expert and trusted advisor, you will translate complex operational requirements into scalable system configurations that deliver measurable business value. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly customer-focused, requiring strong ownership and a problem-solving mindset. You will work closely with clients, product teams, and engineers to ensure successful implementations and continuous improvement of the platform. This is a high-impact role where technical curiosity and consulting expertise directly shape client success.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead customer implementations and ensure successful adoption of a cloud-based investment management platform across complex back-office environments:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of back-office workflows across portfolio accounting, reconciliation, market data, and reporting.
  • Design, configure, test, and optimize platform functionality to align with client operational requirements.
  • Manage data migration, system configuration, and workflow setup across the investment lifecycle.
  • Partner with clients to translate business needs into scalable, efficient system solutions.
  • Collaborate with integration consultants to ensure seamless system connectivity and data flow.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to surface issues, define enhancements, and improve platform capabilities.
  • Develop reusable tools, templates, and implementation frameworks to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Deliver customer training, manage escalations, and support successful go-lives.
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to support team growth and capability building.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long-term value realization from the platform.
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong investment operations knowledge combined with hands-on SaaS implementation experience in client-facing environments:

  • 4+ years of experience in investment management software implementation or related customer-facing consulting roles.
  • Strong expertise in portfolio accounting, reconciliation processes, and investment reporting workflows.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX.
  • Experience managing complex client implementations, including training, escalations, and delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction.
  • High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with modern collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Curiosity-driven mindset with a collaborative and customer-first approach.
