Job Summary:

Manages and directs specific modalities within Diagnostic Imaging and all of its associated activities. Supervises professional and support staff. Insures adherence to all regulatory requirements. Develops and assists in continuous performance improvement within the department in order to maintain optimal quality patient care. Demonstrates leadership and independent judgement necessary to support an effective work environment. Recognizes clinical and/or emergent problems that may interfere with exams and takes appropriate action to resolve them. Assists in the management of overall operations, ensuring quality patient care and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:
1.Graduate of an accredited school or college for specialty; ARRT/ARDMS certification in a radiology modality
2.Valid allied health license in RI, Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field demonstrating progressive responsibility.

4. National certification in Specialty recommended 2-3 years.
