In this pivotal role, you will act as a strategic finance partner to the executive team, helping to shape the financial strategies that drive key decisions across the organization. Your expertise will provide insight into investment opportunities, capital strategies, and operational efficiencies that allow the company to grow responsibly in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with senior executives and provide guidance based on industry best practices and your extensive experience in the finance sector. The impact of your contributions will be felt across all levels of the organization as you help build a sustainable financial future.
Accountabilities- Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend actions based on growth and efficiency.
- Guide the capital strategy across a variety of financial options.
- Partner with the Finance Director to enhance strategic approaches within the finance team.
- Build relationships with banking partners, investors, and advisors to navigate growth phases.
- Prepare board materials and participate in high-level conversations regarding financial strategy.
- Experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Head of Finance in venture-backed SaaS companies.
- Involvement in fundraising efforts (Series B to growth) with a solid knowledge of investor dynamics.
- Experience evaluating company attractiveness and conducting critical evaluations.
- Familiarity with venture debt and its implications for capital strategy.
- Strong understanding of SaaS economics including key metrics that drive business decisions.
