Pharmacist - Staff Inpatient at Avita Health System – Ontario, Ohio

Avita Health System currently operates three hospitals and numerous clinic locations throughout Richland and Crawford counties. Over the last few years, the system has tripled in size serving multiple communities throughout the region. There are over 1,900 employees and over 160 employed physicians and advanced practitioners that provide high-quality healthcare to the surrounding communities.

We are currently accepting resumes & applications for the following pharmacist float position, with being primarily located at our Ontario, Ohio location:

JOB SUMMARY:

Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders. Monitors patient therapies. Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals. Supervises and directs support personnel.

Regulatory Requirements:

Current Pharmacist licensure in good standing in the State of Ohio

Education Requirements:

Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent

Experience:

Inpatient Health System experience preferred.
