QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Current AL Professional Educator Certificate and/or
2. Current license in desired area or
3. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution

Reports to: Principal/Program Director

Contract: Temporary

Supervises: n/a

Job Description/Performance Responsibilities:

1. 1. Knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials and equipment of instructional specialty to which assigned.
   2. Knowledge of student academic growth and development
   3. Knowledge of school's program of studies related to mission, goals and organization.
   4. Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs.
   5. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and peers.
   6. Skilled and effective in oral and written communication.
   7. Ability to use and manage technology including, but not limited to email, internet, videos, etc.
   8. Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to perform required work and move about as needed.
   9. Knowledge and understanding of the Board's policies and procedures.
