JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for housekeeping duties of wholesale warehouse (sweeping, cleaning, assisting warehouse personnel as needed).
  • Responsible for housekeeping duties of outdoor areas and storage yards.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Responsible for pest control, management, and documentation.
  • Manage inventory and pallet damage.
  • Clean and organize outside areas that are used for various functions.
  • Segregates and breaks down pallets as needed.
  • Provide support to manufacturing departments by performing bagging duties.
  • May operate a forklift and other related warehouse equipment once training is completed.
  • Keeps work area organized.
  • Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay Information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
  • Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Alaska driver’s license and clean driving record are preferred.
  • Minimum six months experience in a large warehouse environment, with basic knowledge of warehouse practices.
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize work.
  • Must be able to work in and around a dust filled environment.
  • Perform heavy physical activity including walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and frequently lifting & moving 50-70 pounds.
  • Climb stairs, used hands, arms, and shoulder to reach and move material and products.
  • Operate warehouse cleaning equipment.
  • Able to work in adverse and/or inclement weather conditions, indoors and outdoors
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a professional demeanor
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check as a condition of employment

SCHEDULE

This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. Shifts will generally be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The starting pay for this position is $20.00/hour. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:
