About the Business Intelligence Analyst I position:

The Business Intelligence Analyst I supports reporting and analytics for Avalon programs by transforming data into actionable insights. This role is responsible for extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data, as well as delivering accurate and reliable reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation are essential for success in this position.

This position is eligible for remote work, but quarterly travel will be required to Avalon's corporate office located in Tampa, Florida.

Business Intelligence Analyst I – Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to company, industry, and regulatory compliance standards, as well as data governance best practicesDevelop and maintain SQL queries to support both ad hoc analysis and recurring reporting needsPerform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, relationships, and key drivers of business outcomesManage workflows for impact reporting, including ticket tracking, issue classification, coordination, trackers, peer reviews, and JIRA uploadsCollaborate with Service Delivery and internal teams by analyzing data and delivering actionable recommendations for client deliverablesManage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environmentMaintain clear, thorough documentation of data sources, processes, and reporting logic
