Description:

HTI is recruiting for a Production Supervisor (1st Shift) to support a brand-new manufacturing facility in Hardeeville, SC. This role is responsible for leading daily production operations, driving safety and quality standards, and ensuring the team meets production goals. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on process improvement, team development, and operational efficiency.

What You Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (associate or bachelor’s preferred)

  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety, and quality standards

  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

  • Ability to read production schedules and manage workflow

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities

  • Experience with continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred

  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and reporting tools

  • Ability to work 1st shift hours and support operational needs

What Your Role Will Look Like
  • Lead and supervise daily production activities on 1st shift

  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met

  • Monitor workflow, staffing, and equipment to optimize efficiency

  • Enforce safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture

  • Train, coach, and develop production team members

  • Address performance issues and support employee development

  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity

  • Track production metrics and prepare reports for leadership

  • Support new equipment launches and process changes

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
