Title: Content Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Type: Full-Time | In-Office

Overview:

Surf Air Mobility is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Content Manager to join our team. As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing multimedia content across our company. You will be responsible for developing content strategy, production and creating of content, and ensuring that all content meets our company's brand standards and aligns with our strategy.

The right candidate will have a strong sense of brand and storytelling, has experience producing long form and short form content across media types, and is interested in learning additional responsibilities as is necessary to help achieve the goals of the company.

The Content Manager will report to the Chief of Staff and will work alongside the rest of the Marketing, PR, IR, Brand, Sales, and Experience teams. The ideal candidate thinks strategically about campaigns, understands how every channel tells Surf Air Mobility’s unique story, and helps set the direction and tone of brand messaging and positioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for Surf Air Mobility, which includes creating and publishing content across all digital and physical channels.
  • Manage the creation and production of all content, including video, photo, social media posts, newsletters, long form articles, website content, print, and more.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with the public and investor relations teams to create content that aligns with corporate strategy storytelling.
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar that ensures timely delivery of content.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content and adjust the content strategy as needed.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and develop content.
  • Ensure that all content is optimized for SEO and meets our company's editorial guidelines.
Requirements of the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in content management, content marketing, production, or a related field.
  • Strong photography, videography, editing, and digital design skills.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful content marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and design, such as Figma, Adobe, WordPress, etc.
