We are seeking a customer-focused Technical Sales Specialist to drive business development and expand the adoption of advanced laboratory automation solutions across Latin America. In this role, you will combine consultative sales expertise with technical knowledge to identify new opportunities and develop strong customer relationships. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, pathology laboratories, distributors, and internal technical teams to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions. Your responsibilities will cover the entire customer journey, from opportunity identification and workflow assessment to product implementation and ongoing technical support. You will also deliver technical training, conduct laboratory visits, and help customers optimize their operational processes through innovative automation technologies. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to regional growth within an international technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, technically curious, and passionate about delivering measurable value to customers in the healthcare sector.

Accountabilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Latin America, using consultative selling strategies to expand the customer base and grow existing accounts.

  • Conduct laboratory workflow assessments, customer site visits, and technical evaluations in collaboration with sales leadership and technical application teams.

  • Recommend appropriate products, configurations, and automation solutions based on specific laboratory requirements and operational needs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, healthcare professionals, channel partners, and distributors, acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor.

  • Support account management activities and contribute to customer retention, business development, and regional sales growth.

  • Deliver technical training and product demonstrations to customers, distributors, and internal customer solutions teams, both remotely and on-site.

  • Provide local and remote technical support for equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Coordinate and perform on-site technical support, corrective maintenance, equipment installation, and qualification activities, particularly within pathology laboratories.

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting to ensure traceability of customer issues, resolutions, corrective actions, and product performance.

  • Identify recurring product issues, monitor equipment utilization, and escalate non-conformities and technical trends to the relevant internal teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences or a related field.

  • Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or commercial roles within the healthcare industry.

  • Experience with laboratory automation solutions; familiarity with medical laboratories and pathology workflows is highly desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Customer-oriented mindset with a natural ability to build trusted relationships and deliver high-quality service.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex customer challenges and recommend effective solutions.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities while balancing customer requirements with business objectives.

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

  • Willingness and ability to travel across Brazil and other Latin American markets for customer visits, training, installations, and technical support.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams.

Benefits:
  • Full-time employment opportunity.

  • Remote working arrangement in Brazil, with flexibility depending on customer-facing and business requirements.

  • Opportunity to work with innovative laboratory automation technologies supporting the healthcare and life sciences industries.

  • Exposure to an international business environment and collaboration with global technical and commercial teams.

  • Professional development opportunities through hands-on experience with advanced automation solutions.

  • Opportunity to contribute directly to regional business growth and customer success.

  • Inclusive and collaborative workplace that values diversity, innovation, and different perspectives.
