Job Description
Position Summary:
Sentry Force Security is seeking dependable, professional, and observant Unarmed Security Officers to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at a professional facility. Officers will be responsible for monitoring the premises, providing access control, observing and reporting unusual activity, and assisting with maintaining a safe environment for employees, visitors, and guests.
Responsibilities:
Monitor facility premises and maintain a visible security presence.
Control access to the property and monitor visitor entry.
Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
Observe, identify, and report suspicious or unusual activity.
Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations.
De-escalate challenging situations using sound judgment and effective communication.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation.
Follow all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer registration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Good judgment, dependability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous security or customer service experience preferred.
