NETWORK ENGINEER III in JONESBORO, Arkansas at Saint Bernards Medical Center

Employees at this level work under the guidelines of the IT Infrastructure Manager with minimal supervision to support a broad range of network architectures and network projects. They are able to handle multiple projects at the same time, and are able to complete projects on time and within budget. Ability to complete network projects from start to finish, with minimal supervision. Can work with other teams and communicate in a way that makes projects successful. Takes ownership of projects. Trains lower level network engineers. Documents technical processes and procedures. Gives technical recommendations to the IT Infrastructure Manager when requested. Designs and implements procedures for optimizing the network software and hardware products. Performs duties outlined in Level I and II of this series as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Rotating on-call required. Reports to IT Infrastructure Manager.
