About This Position
Position Description:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Bachelors degree from an accredited university is preferred.
3 years of billing experience required.
Varian experience preferred.
Clinical Research experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review daily charges for completeness.
Notify clinical staff of incomplete charges.
Review all missing information reports and provide data.
Prepare insurance authorization request packets and send for review.
Assist Texas Oncology billing and authorization departments with requests for information.
Assist all outside labs, radiology, etc. with requests for billing information.
All other duties as assigned.
Supervision
The Billing Quality Control Specialist reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
