About the Position
The airport seeks internal applicants to help lead our daytime custodial staff. This individual will plan, supervise, and work alongside our custodial crew. They will play an important role in enhancing customer experience by keeping facilities clean and occasionally answering questions from the public. Typical job duties include:
- Assignment, coordination, and participation in a variety of cleaning tasks
- Leading and documenting department training (including OSHA standards and safety)
- Keeping attendance records and preparing timecards
- Welcoming and familiarizing new employees with work routines
- Preparing input on subordinates' performance appraisals
- Developing custodial procedures
Three years of previous custodial experience is required. Strong candidates will demonstrate a track record in formal or informal leadership, an interest in administration, and the ability to create a positive workplace and team-oriented environment.
Compensation
Starting salary range: $40,728 - $45,819 ($19.58 - $22.03 per hour). The position is eligible for overtime. Employees are eligible for a $750 incentive on their paychecks quarterly. Schedule
Crew Leaders typically work four 10-hour shifts a week, Wednesday 8 am- 6:30 pm, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday 6 am-4:30 pm, plus occasional training—additional details to be discussed during an interview.
